Purchase of Ordinary Shares by STM EBT

13 February 2017

STM Group Plc (AIM:STM), the cross border financial services provider, was notified on 13 February 2017 that on that date the STM employee benefit trust ("EBT"), acquired 105,422 ordinary shares of 0.1p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the capital of the Company, representing 0.18 per cent of STM's issued share capital, at a price of 48p per share. These Ordinary Shares are to be held on trust for the purpose of satisfying future awards to beneficiaries of the Company's Value Creation Plan ("VCP").

The Company notes that as Therese Neish and Elizabeth Plummer are directors of the trustee of the EBT and Therese Neish is a potential beneficiary of the VCP, they are therefore treated as having an interest in the Ordinary Shares.
